LUNAR GLOW

LUNAR GLOW is a limited-edition luxury modern chandelier
that adapts the aesthetic of GLOW 3. Paper mâché appears
to ‘grow’ over three hand-blown glass eggs in light pink and
champagne glass colour. Each is then suspended by oiled,
waxed and aged brass to create a chandelier that contrasts
sharp geometricity with organic form.
LUNAR GLOW was commissioned for the CTMP Design Auction at Milan Design Week 2021, a partnership between Cambi auction house and Mr Lawrence design consultancy. The project is a celebration of the most influential voices in
contemporary collectable design

INNER GLOW

Sophie Dries choose to juxtapose the blown glass and brass synonymous with KAIA chandeliers with a more organic material, paper. The rough and organic paper is in contrast with the smooth and transparent glass eggs and geometric lines of the brass structure. The way the paper appears to grow over the glass eggs brings to mind the way moss and fungi grow over walls and buildings

MARBLE COFFEE TABLE

Created in collaboration with Parisian designer and architect Sophie Dries, the mind behind KAIA’s GLOW collection, this limited-edition marble coffee table is made to take centre stage in your living space, inside or out. Made entirely from natural materials, its distinctive tabletop creates an organic silhouette that’s supported by a quartet of solid, asymmetrically placed legs.

This marble coffee table serves as a convergence of art and nature, beautifully fashioned from the finest Calacatta Viola marble hailing from Tuscany's Carrata region, distinguished by its prominent purple veining.
